Relay — Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Inside Charleston LLC ("Relay," "we," "us") handles information through getrelaykit.com and the Relay service.

1. Two roles.

For our own account holders and site visitors, we act as the controller of personal information. For people who interact with a contractor's Relay-built site or receptionist (for example, a homeowner submitting a lead), the contractor is responsible for that information and we process it on the contractor's behalf as a service provider.

2. What we collect.

Account and business details you provide (name, business name, email, phone, address, license and service information). Lead information submitted by site visitors (such as name, phone, email, message, and service address). Chat and call content, including transcripts and, where enabled, call recordings. Payment information, which is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Usage data, device and log information, and cookies used to operate and improve the site.

3. How we use it.

To provide and operate the service, capture and relay leads to you, send follow-ups and service messages, process payments, provide support, maintain security, improve the product, and comply with law.

4. How we share it.

We use trusted service providers to run Relay, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting and database), our telephony and voice providers (for the voice receptionist), our email provider (for alerts and follow-ups), Google services (such as Places and reviews), and AI model providers (to power chat and voice). They may process information only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Communications.

By contacting us or a Relay site, or by providing a phone number, you consent to related calls, texts, and emails. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP and of emails using the unsubscribe link. Where call recording is enabled, a notice is provided when recording is on.

6. Retention.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize it.

7. Your choices.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing concierge@insidecharleston.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA, and we will honor applicable rights. For information held on a contractor's behalf, we will refer your request to that contractor.

8. Security.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children.

Relay is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

10. Changes.

We may update this Policy and will post changes here with a new "last updated" date.
